Carlton Celebrates Diversity

By Louise Morrin

For many property owners, be they families, first-home buyers or investors, finding an area rich in diversity is important. This makes property in Carlton the perfect fit for many potential home buyers.

As part of real estate in St. George, and the Municipality of Kogarah specifically, Carlton offers residents a region that embraces cultural diversity.

According to data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS), 50 per cent of people in the Kogarah area speak a language other than English in the home. Additionally, more than 25 different religions are represented in the area.

"This diversity in our community helps to shape the unique character of Kogarah and contribute to the social, economic and cultural development of the area," states the official website for the Kogarah City Council.

Of course, the diversity of this area goes beyond cultures, offering a wide variety of residents of different ages and family sizes.

All of these elements come together to create a one-of-a-kind community that provides a unique and preferable living environment for home buyers.
