Moving in spring: Tips for a stress-free shift

It's almost hard to believe, but spring is just around the corner. Typically, spring is a busy time for the property market, as the weather is warm and buyers are very active. 

Whether you're about to sell a slice of real estate in St George or move to a new rental property in the area, you'll have to deal with the moving process. 

This doesn't have to be a stressful procedure, however. With these tips, you'll be sure to take out all the hassle.

Shop around 

Removalists can be expensive. If you've opted for some professional help to move your furniture, grab at least two or three quotes before picking one. For a cheaper alternatives, try and recruit some friends and family with an IOU. 

Prepare a moving kit

When you've shifted into your new home, you're going to have a lot of unpacked boxes, making it hard to find the basics. Instead, pack a moving kit so you'll have everything you need when you arrive at your new destination. Toilet paper, a kettle, bedding, a change of clothes, cutlery, cloths, cups and some dish washing detergent are some key items.
