From this month until mid-December, the Hurstville Museum and Gallery and the Hurstville City Library are showcasing some fine artwork from local artists.
A number of artists were selected as part of the St George Art Awards 2014 and their works will be on display for the next couple of months. Some of the artwork up for viewing will include pieces from category winners and highly commended artists.
This year's theme for the Art Awards was 'Transformation', which the judging board left up to artists to interpret themselves. Over four categories were available, including People's Choice, St George Local Youth Prize, St George 3D Art Prize and St George Art Prize 2014.
