One of the best parts about living in suburban Sydney has to be the regular events you'll find. From farmers markets, craft stalls to community playgroups, there's always something happening near any property in Carlton.
For locals who have young ones, it can be hard to find a family event that'll keep the kids entertained for hours. Fortunately, on 9 August, you'll find the Baby and Kids Markets in nearby Rockdale has much to offer!
Hosted on King Lane, the Baby and Kids markets will boast a petting zoo, face painting, kids rides and a bunch of arts and crafts activities. It's not just all about the kids, as Dads and mums-to-be will be able to enjoy parenting information sessions, live music and even second-hand stalls.
The event will kick off at 10 a.m. and finish at 3 p.m. – plenty of time to make your way around the markets!
The Baby and Kids Markets are part of Living Laneways. This is a council initiative that provides the artists, entrepreneurs and schools of the region to show off their talents, while also giving local residents fun activities.
Keep your eyes peeled for future events!
